Overview

After login, you're gonna see the overview.
This is gonna give you some high-level information about today's check-outs, check-ins,
upcoming reservations, staying guests
, and just other nice stats to know about your property.

Calendar

In the HostAway Calendar, you can easily see when your property is available and block dates for your own stays. You can also check upcoming guest reservations and keep your calendar updated at all times.
View real-time availability for your property.(multi, monthly or yearly view)
Schedule and edit your personal owner's stays.
Review guest booking details and reservation statuses.
This feature allows you to manually add different types of reservations, including Owner Stays, directly on the calendar.
Open the HostAway Calendar.
Click and drag to select the dates you want to block.
Click Add - Owner’s Stay.
Type your name and all the information you need.
Click Save.
Once you've completed this step, you can share additional check-in details with your guests using the Guest Portal link. In the portal, guests can find their door code, useful check-in information, and details about the property listing, everything they need to plan their stay.
If you’d like to view information about a specific reservation, simply click on that booking in your calendar. A summary tab will appear with key details about the stay, including the Owner Payout (the amount you’ll receive) and pricing information.

Reservations

If you navigate to the Reservations section, you can view a list of all upcoming reservations.
From here, you can click on any reservation to see more details about the stay, such as the
guest’s phone number and other relevant information.

This section also allows you to download reports and guest data for further review.

Listings

When you go to the Listings section, you’ll see all your properties displayed.
You can select any listing to view detailed information about the property, including house rules,
amenities, and other stuff. This helps ensure the Triad team has accurate information about your property.

You can also see which platforms your listing is connected to, for example, Airbnb, Booking.com, our direct
booking website (triadvacationrentals.com), VRBO, Google Vacation Rentals
, and others.
Note: These features are only available on the desktop version of HostAway. The mobile app provides access mainly to the calendar and limited listing details.
At the bottom of the page, you’ll also find a direct link to your listing and an iCal link.
The iCal link can be shared with your cleaners so they can sync the booking calendar with Google Calendar, Outlook that automatically showing new reservations as they come in.

Financial reporting

When you navigate to the Financial Reporting section, you can view key analytics for your properties, including rental activity and occupancy reports.

Owner Statements

Here you’ll find detailed monthly reports that provide an overview of your property’s performance. These statements include information such as rental revenue, owner payouts, and non-Airbnb payouts.

If there are any expenses or claims, scroll down to the Expenses and Extras section. Each entry will typically include a screenshot or document attachment (indicated by a paperclip icon) that you can click to open and review the details.

Tasks

In the Tasks (TAS) section, you’ll find items that have been assigned to you based on guest messages, calls, or reviews related to your property. Each task highlights something that requires your attention.

For example, you might see a task indicating that a guest reported excessive stains on the rug before check-in.
 This task is added to your list so you can review the issue and ensure it’s properly addressed.

You can click on any task to open it, add notes or updates (for example, “Rug cleaned and issue resolved”), and then mark it as resolved once completed.

You can also leave additional comments or notes to help the team stay updated on the status.

Smart locks

Finally, under the Smart Locks section, you can see whether your property’s smart lock is connected.
HostAway supports a wide range of devices - if you’re unsure whether your lock can be integrated, please contact us and we’ll confirm if the Smart Lock feature can be added to your guest check-in messages.

Access through the smart lock is available only during the guest’s stay period, ensuring secure and convenient entry.
